In an extraordinary session of the Council of State today, the King has made changes in the Government.
Member of Parliament Trine Skei Grande has been appointed Minister of Culture.
Minister of Local Government and Modernisation Jan Tore Sanner has been appointed Minister of Education and Integration.
Minister of Trade and Industry Monica Mæland has been appointed Minister of Local Government and Modernisation.
Minister of Immigration and Integration Sylvi Listhaug has been appointed Minister of Justice, Public Security and Immigration.
Minister of Education and Research Torbjørn Røe Isaksen has been appointed Minister of Trade and Industry.
Minister of Culture Linda Cathrine Hofstad Helleland has been appointed Minister of Children and Equality.
Cyber Coordinator Åse Michaelsen has been appointed Minister for the Elderly and Public Health.
Member of Parliament Ola Elvestuen has been appointed Minister of Climate and Environment.
Member of Parliament Nikolai Eivindssøn Astrup has been appointed Minister of International Development.
Lawyer Iselin Nybø has been appointed Minister for Research and Higher Education.
At the same time, Minister of Climate and Environment Vidar Helgesen, Minister of Children and Equality Solveig Horne, Minister of Justice and Public Security Per-Willy Trudvang Amundsen and Minister of EEA and EU Affairs Marit Berger Røsland have been honourably discharged from their offices.
The changes are active as of 16.00 hours today, 17 January 2018.
