In an extraordinary session of the Council of State , the King has made changes in the Government. The Ministry of Education and Research now has two ministers and integration as a new responsibility.
Minister of Local Government and Modernisation Jan Tore Sanner has been appointed Minister of Education and Integration.
Lawyer Iselin Nybø has been appointed Minister for Research and Higher Education.
The Government represents the Conservative Party (C), the Progress Party (PrP) and the Liberal Party (L).
Changes among the state secretaries
In today’s extraordinary session of the Council of State, the King has made changes in the list of state secretaries. As for Ministry for Education and Research the new state secretaries are:

Changes among the political advisers
After the changes in the Government today, the Office of the Prime Minister has made changes among the political advisers.
Mr. Kjartan Almenning has been appointed political adviser to Minister of Research and Higher Education Iselin Nybø.
Ms. Maria Kristine Göthner (C) has been appointed political advisor to Minister of Education and Integration Jan Tore Sanner.
