Norway condemns North Korea's attempt to launch a satellite on 27 May 2024.
North Korea conducted a failed satellite launch on 27 May. The attempted launch is in violation of several Security Council resolutions and threatens regional and international security.
Norway urges the North Korean authorities to comply with their international obligations and resume political dialogue in order to abandon its nuclear and ballistic programmes in a complete, verifiable, and irreversible manner.
