Statement by Minister Eide on resumed military operations in Gaza

'Israel has resumed their military operations in Gaza. The situation is a nightmare, both for the severely suffering Palestinian civilian population, and for the Israeli hostages and their families', said Espen Barth Eide, Minister of Foreign Affairs.
'The fighting must now stop immediately, so negotiations for the continuation of the ceasefire agreement can resume', said Eide.
