Section for Green Transition

The relationship between economic development and green transition forms the framework for the section’s work. The section has three main areas: the energy transition, sustainable business, and sustainable finance. The section manages the state's ownership of Enova and is responsible for the ministry's work on sustainable finance and a just transition. The section also has responsibilities related to sustainable business, CBAM, energy transition, as well as responsibility for climate partnerships and follow-up of the 2050 Climate Change Committee. Additionally, the section coordinates the ministry’s work on taxation and duties and holds the overall responsibility for the ministry's work on socio-economic analyses.
