Biography
Paul Chaffey was State Secretary to the Minister of Digitalisation from January 2019 to january 2020. He was State Secretary to the Minister of Local Government and Modernisation from 2013. Prior to that he was managing director of Abelia.
Chaffey has a degree in political science and history, and has previously worked at Statoil. He was a member of the Norwegian parliament from 1989 to 1997, and has served on the board of directors of a number of institutions, including Amnesty, the Norwegian Institute of International Affairs (NUPI), the University of Oslo, the Norwegian Business and Industry Security Council and the Research Council of Norway’s FORNY 2020 programme.
