The Nidaros Cathedral's Restoration Workshop

The primary objective of the Nidaros Cathedral's Restoration Workshop (known as NDR in Norwegian) is to preserve, disseminate and develop Nidaros Cathedral and the Archbishop's Palace as vibrant cultural monuments and church buildings.
NDR is mandated to continue its development as a national centre of expertise in the restoration of heritage stone buildings.
NDR is responsible for preserving and safeguarding the Nidaros Cathedral and the guide service in the Cathedral; moreover, NDR is in charge of maintenance at the Archbishop's Palace, the large national monument adjacent to the Cathedral, and running it. Among other things, the Archbishop's Palace houses the oldest secular building in the Nordic countries as well as two museums.
