Karoline Sjøen Andersen (b. 1995) was appointed Political Advisor at the Norwegian Ministry of Petroleum and Energy on January 11^th 2021. Andersen was previously project leader at Norwegian Offshore Wind Cluster in Haugesund and holds a MA degree in Materials Science for Energy and Nanotechnology from the University of Oslo (2020).

In addition to her position at the Norwegian Offshore Wind Cluster she's been working CEO at the Norwegian Marine & Energy Complex.

Karoline Sjøen Andersen's political background includes several positions at the Conservative Party in Rogaland county. She's been a member of Haugesund City Council since 2019.
