Norway to provide large boost in aid to Somalia

She announced large additional aid allocations, pledging a further NOK 25 million in emergency aid to deal with the acute problem of drought. Norway will also make a fresh allocation of NOK 300 million for long-term development efforts, to be channelled through the World Bank.
