Section for Human Resources
The Unit for Employer’s Affairs takes a proactive approach to fulfilling the Foreign Service’s responsibilities as an employer, and works to ensure good working conditions and promote an inclusive working environment for all employees.
The Unit is responsible for negotiation and interpretation of collective agreements (with the exception of the Ministry’s special agreements for posted employees), disbursement of salaries and other remuneration, family policy, HSE, crisis management plans for Foreign Service employees, restructuring efforts, and administration in connection with time registration, relocation, and official travel.
