Norway – India 2030. The Norwegian Government’s strategy for cooperation with India

India is the world’s largest democracy and a rapidly growing emerging economy. Its geopolitical role, its huge population, its long coastline and, not least, its booming economy make India an increasingly influential global player and an increasingly important partner for Norway. Developments in India will have a significant impact on how successful the world is in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals and global climate targets, the foreword says.
