Consultations

Presenting a case for consultation is done when the Ministry wants to consult affected parties on a suggested bill or act.

Consultations are used to allow the public, organisations and the business community to state their opinion, and to control how the public administration works and performs their tasks.

Among the cases presented for consultation are suggested laws and regulations to regulate people’s right and duties, suggested changes in how the public administration is organised (for instance relocation), jurisdiction changes, as well as reports.
