New state secretaries
Following the change of government at 1 p.m. today, a number of state secretaries were appointed by the King in the extraordinary session of the Council of State at 1 p.m. State secretaries appointed under the former government resigned as of 1 p.m. today.
The new government is a coalition representing the Christian Democratic Party (Chr.), the Centre Party (Cent.) and the Liberal Party (Lib.). The new state secretaries are:

Ministry of Cultural Affairs:
Mr. Ivar Egeberg (47), Blaker, mayor (Cent.)
Ministry of Trade and Industry:
Ms. Harriet E. Berg (33), Oslo, executive officer (Lib.)
Ministry of Foreign Affairs:
Ms. Åslaug Marie Haga (38), Ås, assistant director general (Cent.)
Ministry of Finance:
Mr. Arne Synnes (57), Bærum, head of secretariate (Chr.)
