Lars Peder Brekk to succeed Peter Angelsen as Minister of Fisheries
In today’s session of the Council of State, the King has appointed Mr. Lars Peder Brekk (44), Managing Director, Rørvik, as Minister of Fisheries, effective as of today at 2 pm. Following Mr. Peter Angelsen’s application to resign from his office as Minister of Fisheries, the King has honourably discharged him from that office from the same moment.
Mr. Kåre Gjønnes (Chr.) is appointed Minister for Nordic Cooperation.
The Ministry of Fisheries’ state secretary and political advisor are also honourably discharged from their offices.
