The Norwegian Minister of Defence Mrs. Kristin Krohn Devold visits the United States next week. Mrs. Krohn Devold will have political discussions with her American colleagues as well as other key representatives of the U.S. administration. The international war against terrorism will be one of the main topics of discussion.

The Norwegian Minister of Defence Mrs. Kristin Krohn Devold visits the United States
The Norwegian Minister of Defence Mrs. Kristin Krohn Devold visits the United States next week. Mrs. Krohn Devold will have political discussions with her American colleagues as well as other key representatives of the U.S. administration. The international war against terrorism will be one of the main topics of discussion.
The Ministers will sign a "Declaration of Principles", a bilateral agreement covering logistical, and material and scientific co-operation. The agreement confirms the close ties between Norway and the United States and will strengthen the military industrial co-operation.
Mrs. Krohn Devold will also pay a visit to USCENTCOM in Florida, headquarter of Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan where she will be given a briefing on the current situation in Afghanistan.
