(17 June 2005) This strategic concept states, in the field of security and defence policies the political basis for the operational activities of the Norwegian Armed Forces. In doing so, it serves the role as strategic level political guidance. The document thus provides the political basis for the development of doctrines for the Norwegian Armed Forces, and for their operational activities.
