Governor Svein Gjedrem reappointed as Governor of Norges Bank
The King in Council reappointed today, 29 October 2004, Mr. Svein Gjedrem as Governor of Norges Bank (Central Bank) and Chairman of the Bank’s Executive Board for a second term of six years as from 1 January 2005.
Governor Gjedrem is 54 years and served as Secretary General of the Ministry of Finance from 1996 through 1998.
