In its report on Norway, IMF commends Norway’s strong fiscal and monetary framework and the success in avoiding any adverse effects of the oil wealth. IMF welcomes the economic recovery that has taken hold since 2004. (13.06.05)

IMF commends Norway for its economic policy
In its report on Norway, IMF commends Norway’s strong fiscal and monetary framework and the success in avoiding any adverse effects of the oil wealth. IMF welcomes the economic recovery that has taken hold since 2004.
IMF has this time conducted a Financial Sector Assessment Program, and in its Financial System Stability Assessment concluded that the financial system is sound, competitive, and well managed, with a strong system of financial supervision.

elements of economic policy at the same time as it makes
recommendations that will be considered carefully.
