Prime Minister Kjell Magne Bondevik will open the Donors’ Meeting on East Timor in the Oslo Kongressenter (Folkets Hus) at 13.00 on Tuesday 11 December.

After the opening, this year’s Nobel Peace Prize laureate Kofi Annan, World Bank President James Wolfensohn, East Timorese Minister of Coordination Mari Alkatiri and Norwegian Minister of International Development Hilde Frafjord Johnson will hold a press meeting at 13.30-13.50.

The press will also have an opportunity to attend the opening at 13.00.

All members of the press must be accredited, for security reasons. The press is requested to arrive at the latest by 12.00.

The Donors’ Meeting will end on Wednesday 12 December at 16.00. Together with representatives of the UN Transitional Administration in East Timor, the World Bank and East Timorese leaders, Minister of International Development Hilde Frafjord Johnson will hold a press conference at 16.30 in Folkets Hus.
