Foreign Minister Petersen optimistic about Mohammed Salih’s release
In connection with the OSCE Ministerial Council Meeting in Bucharest on Monday, Foreign Minister Jan Petersen took up the arrest of the exiled Uzbek politician Mohammed Salih with his Czech colleague, Jan Kavan.
After their meeting, Foreign Minister Petersen expressed his optimism that the matter would soon be resolved.
Mohammed Salih came to Norway from Turkey in 1999 and has been granted political asylum here.
