Today the Ministry of Foreign Affairs informed Ambassador Mona Juul, in accordance with section 16 of the Public Administration Act, that the ministry will begin evaluating the possibility of taking disciplinary measures in accordance with section 14 of the Civil Service Act.
The reason for this is that the ministry has established that Ambassador Juul has violated her official duties under section 20 of the Civil Service Act and the unwritten duty of loyalty owed by government employees.
According to the Public Administration Act, during the preparation of such cases senior officials and other civil servants are entitled to examine the documents in the case, submit any comments, etc.
