The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has allocated NOK 2 million in emergency funding today for food, blankets and equipment for people in Jenin who no longer have a roof over their heads. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has allocated NOK 2 million in emergency funding today for food, blankets and equipment for people in Jenin who no longer have a roof over their heads. "After the events of the past few days, the people of Jenin need help immediately," said State Secretary Vidar Helgesen of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The funds will be channelled to the local authorities in Jenin through the Norwegian representation office in Al Ram, which currently has two representatives in the area. The representatives will assess the need for assistance and the application of the Norwegian funds in a dialogue
