International Development Minister meets World Bank President
The Norwegian Minister of International Development, Hilde F. Johnson, is meeting the President of the World Bank, James D. Wolfensohn, Thursday 13 May.
At the meeting Ms Johnson and Mr Wolfensohn will discuss current development policy issues and the World Bank’s work on poverty reduction. They will also talk about the Bank’s role in Sudan.
Mr Wolfensohn is in Norway for the World Bank’s annual meeting with the Nordic and Baltic governors, which will take place immediately after the meeting with the minister.
