Supreme Court decision on Ukraine elections
Norway welcomes the decision of Ukraine’s Supreme Court. Ukraine now has the possibility of conducting elections in accordance with recognised international, democratic principles.
Free and fair elections, which reflect the will of the Ukrainian people, will be a major step forwards in Ukraine’s democratic development.
The Supreme Court decision confirms the assessment of the OSCE election observers and is thus a good lead-up to the OSCE Ministerial Council in Sofia on 6-7 December.
