We have noted that the European Commission and the Norwegian salmon industry have reached an amicable agreement entailing that the provisional anti-dumping duties will be replaced by a system based on a minimum import price. This measure will be in force until January 2006. The agreement implies equal treatment of all Norwegian companies.

Consequently it is unnecessary for the Norwegian authorities now to take additional steps in this matter.
