Nobel Peace Prize Exhibition

In collaboration with the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, the Royal Norwegian Embassy in Cairo is hosting the ‘Nobel Peace Prize Exhibition’ at the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, which will be inaugurated on Thursday 18 March 2004 and which will stay on display until 8 April.

The idea of this ‘Touring Exhibition’ originated when 100 years had passed since the First Nobel Peace prize was awarded in 1901. This exhibition is thus a celebration of the Centennial Anniversary of the Nobel Peace Prize. Although the actual One Hundreth anniversary was in 2001, the exhibition which has been touring several major cities including Bonn in Germany and New York in the United States, is now to be shown at the Bibliotheca Alexandrina. The exhibition will then continue its tour to Strasbourg, France.
