The Tariff Board has on29 June 2005adopted a regulation on general application of wage agreements at construction sites in theOsloFjord Region.

Based on a claim from the Norwegian Federation of Trade Unions (LO) the Tariff Board has decided to make parts of the Construction Agreement generally applicable for employees in the counties of Oslo, Akershus, Buskerud, Østfold and Vestfold and parts of the Electrical Installation Agreement generally applicable for employees in the counties of Oslo and Akershus. Terms of wages and employment deriving from the regulation are minimum terms applicable for employees in the building sector, within the scope of the regulation. The regulation enters into force on 1 September 2005.
