Advance warning for deportation of Mullah Krekar
The Directorate of Immigration has given Faraj Ahmad Najmuddin, also known as Mulla Krekar, an advance warning that he might be deported. The warning is given out of consideration for the security of the nation.
Mulla Krekar is also warned that there might be a resolution that his status of asylum, his settlement permission and his refugee travelling documents can be withdrawn. He might also be enrolled in SIS (the Schengen Information System). The Ministry has in this case, after being recommended by the Directorate of Immigration, chosen to use the ability to instruct on decisions regarding the security of the nation or the interests of the relations between Norway and any other country according to the Immigration Act, paragraph 38.
According to the Public Administration Act paragraph 16, the other part is supposed to get an advance warning before final resolution is made. In the advance warning given by the Directorate of Immigration Mullah Krekar is given a time limit of two weeks to give a statement. Afterwards there will be decided whether he will be deported or not.
