New state secretaries
Following the change of government at noon today, where Kjell Magne Bondevik’s second government succeeded Jens Stoltenberg’s government, the King in an extraordinary session of the Council of State at noon today appointed a number of state secretaries. In an extraordinary session of the Council of State at 10 am, the King accepted the resignations of the state secretaries appointed under Jens Stoltenberg’s government, as of noon today.
The new government represents the Christian Democratic Party (Chr.), the Conservative Party (C) and the Liberal Party (Lib.) The new state secretaries are:
