Norway’s Prime Minister offers condolences to
the President of the Republic of Korea
Following the recent typhoon in South Korea, Prime Minister Kjell Magne Bondevik of Norway yesterday sent the following message to President Kim Dae-jung:
“Dear Mr. President,
On behalf of the Norwegian people, I wish to extend my deepest condolences to you and the Korean people on the Typhoon Rusa that has so far taken the lives of more than 80 Koreans. I am also informed that the typhoon has caused massive property damage since it hit the southern coast of the Republic of Korea last Saturday.
Our thoughts are with all those men, women and children affected by this disaster.
Yours sincerely,
Kjell Magne Bondevik”
