Change of state secretary in
Ministry of Local Government and Regional Development
In today’s session of the Council of State, the King has appointed Mr. Frank Jenssen (34), city councillor, Trondheim, as state secretary in the Ministry of Local Government and Regional Development from 20 October 2003. At the same time Mr. Morten Andreas Meyer has been honourably discharged from the office as state secretary in the said ministry from 27 October.
Frank Jenssen comes from the post as city councillor in Trondheim. He has studied social sciences at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology. He has been a member of Trondheim City Council since 1992, and has been political advisor to the mayor of Trondheim and head of information at the headquarters of the Conservative Party. Mr. Jenssen is president of Sør-Trøndelag Conservative Party.
