Change of political advisor
in the Ministry of Agriculture
The Office of the Prime Minister has from 16 August 2004 appointed Ms. Maren Hersleth Holsen (28), landscape architect, Oslo, as political advisor to Minister Lars Sponheim in the Ministry of Agriculture. She succeeds Ms. Alvhild Hedstein, who leaves the post on 20 August 2004.
Ms. Herlseth Holsen graduated as landscape architect from the Agricultural University of Norway in 2003, and has since worked at Multiconsult AS. She is presently president of the Royal Norwegian Society for Development, and has been a member of the council for the research project ”Power and Democracy”, a member of the board of the Norwegian Union of Farmers and leader of Young Farmers of Norway.
The Government represents the Conservative Party (C), the Christian Democratic Party (CD) and the Liberal Party (Lib.). From 20 August 2004 the list of political advisors looks as follows:
