Acting political advisor in Ministry
of Education and Research

The Office of the Prime Minister has appointed Ms. Marianne Groth (24), political advisor, Oslo, as acting political advisor to Ms. Kristin Clemet in the Ministry of Education and Research from 24 August 2005. She substitutes Ms. Eldbjørg Torsøe, who has been granted leave of absence from the same date.

Marianne Groth comes from the post as political advisor on finance and development in the City Government of Oslo. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in sociology from the University of Oslo, and has formerly been political advisor at the Conservative Party.

The Government represents the Conservative Party (C), the Christian Democratic Party (CD) and the Liberal Party (L). From 24 August 2005 the list of political advisors to the ministers is as follows:
