Norway’s Prime Minister Kjell Magne Bondevik today sent the following letter to Croatia’s President Stjepan Mesic:

”I am writing to congratulate you on your re-election as president of the Republic of Croatia.

Our discussions last December in Tirana reflected that we share many of the same basic values, outlook, visions and ambitions for the future. I look forward to continuing our dialogue, and take this opportunity to reiterate that it would give me great pleasure to be able to receive you as my guest in Norway.
