New political advisors
The Office of the Prime Minister has appointed the following political advisors in the ministries from 28 March 2000: Mr. Tore O. Sandvik (33), youth secretary, Saupstad – in the Ministry of Trade and Industry, Mr. Jo Stein Moen (27), project coordinator, Oslo – in the Ministry of the Environment, Mr. Kjell Erik Øie (40), advisor, Oslo – in the Ministry of Children and Family Affairs, Mr. Erlend Jahns Broli (27), sectional engineer, Oslo– in the Ministry of Oil and Energy, Mr. Wegard Håkon Harsvik (32), information secretary, Oslo – in the Ministry of Education, Research and Church Affairs.
From 29 March 2000 the following political advisors have been appointed: Ms. Anne Marit Bjørnflaten (33), political advisor, Oslo – in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, foreign affairs, Mr. Arnt Frode Jensen (46), project coordinator, Herøy – in the Ministry of Transport and Communications, Mr. Kjetil Mjøsund (32), police inspector - in the Ministry of Justice and the Police.
From 30 March 2000 Ms. Marianne Aasen Agdestein has been appointed political advisor in the Ministry of Local Government and Regional Development.
From 3 April 2000 Mr. Arve Helle (28), executive officer, Dale in Sunnfjord, has been appointed political advisor in the Ministry of Fisheries.
From 5 April 2000 Ms. Sikke Nesheim has been appointed political advisor in the Ministry of Agriculture.
Jens Stoltenberg’s government was appointed on 17 March 2000. It represents the Labour Party. The list of political advisors is as follows:
