Press points to the USA terrorist attack
- USA has asked for assistance and is now considering the needs.
- Norway puts emphasis on meeting the American request. USA is facing enormous humanitarian challenges and Norway will certainly contribute. We all have a responsibility in lessening the human suffering.
- Norwegian authorities are in dialogue with America authorities in order to find out in which way we can contribute most effectively with assistance. We have to contribute where it is possible and in an effective way.
- We have offered a group of 15 crime scene officers with assistance from 4 forensic odontologic experts and 4 forensic experts. In addition a catastrophe stress team from the Norwegian defence as well as a civilian catastrophe syndrom are available. We are also considering the possibilities of whether Norwegian ships may contribute team to the alleviation of the human suffering.
- The question of further assistance will be in considered in consideration with US authorities.
