Strategy Council 2010 – report

The new Strategy Council for the Government Pension Fund Global delivered their report to finance minister Sigbjørn Johnsen today.

In the National Budget 2011 the Ministry announced the establishment of a new Strategy Council with four external members. The Strategy Council has been asked to write a report on the long term investment strategy of the Government Pension Fund Global. The report was presented 26 November 2010.

“Such independent and critical reviews provides useful professional input while fostering greater transparency and discussion about important issues related to the long-term investment strategy of the Fund,” says Minister of Finance, Sigbjørn Johnsen.
