The Ministry of Finance fully operative

The Norwegian Ministry of Finance was severely hit by the bomb blast in Oslo 22 July. Fortunally no employees was injured.

The Ministry started immediately to set up alternative emergency offices and has been fully operative this week. The police investigation in the building is now finished, and the building has been examined by building experts. There is good reasons to believe that the Ministry can move into parts of the building gradually in near future. The Ministry has now taken up normal work-routines. All data systems have been unaffected by the bomb and have been accessible for our staff. The Budget process is proceeding as planned to be presented October 6 2011.
