Programme for the ministerial conference on illegal fishing in Trondheim on Monday 7 August, 2006
The ministerial conference will be held at the Radisson SAS Royal Garden Hotel in Trondheim and starts on Monday 7 August at 9 a.m.
The doors will be closed once the conference starts. It is therefore important that reporters and others who wish to follow the conference have completed registration before 9 a.m.
Registration takes place outside the conference premises – the plenary room at the hotel.
Programme:
09.00 - 09.05 Opening by Helga Pedersen, Minister of Fisheries and Coastal Affairs
09.05 – 10.30 National presentations (Norway, Iceland, the U.K., Morocco)
10.30 - 11.00 Coffee break
11.00 - 12.30 National presentations (Sweden, Portugal, Scotland, Germany, EU)
12.30 - 14.00 Lunch. During the break, FAO will present its work against illegal fishing.

14.00 - 15.20 Discussion. Conclusion
15.30 Press conference
The press conference will take place in the Kristiansten meeting room.
