The Office of the Prime Minister has from 18 May 2011 appointed Mr. Martin Henriksen (32), student and adviser, Oslo, as political adviser to Minister of Fisheries and Coastal Affairs Lisbeth Berg-Hansen. He will succeed Ms. Fride Solbakken, who will leave the post on the same day.

Martin Henriksen is Deputy Member of Storting for the Labour Party in the County of Troms for the period 2009-2013. He was leader of the Norwegian Labour Youth 2006-2010. Henriksen was born in Trondheim and grew up in Harstad.
