The main aim of the Norwegian engagement in Afghanistan is to support the Afghan authorities in their responsibility to ensure stability, security and development. In accordance with the Paris donor conference agreement and NATOs political-military plan, the international society must improve coordination of its efforts in order to strengthen Afghan capacity and ownership.
