The Government of Norway has decided to nominate Professor Kirsten Sandberg as a candidate for the UN Committee on the Rights of the Child (CRC) for the period 2011-2015. Mrs. Kirsten Sandberg is a Professor of Law at the Law Faculty, University of Oslo, specializing in Child Law.
The Government of Norway has decided to nominate Professor Kirsten Sandberg as a candidate for the UN Committee on the Rights of the Child (CRC) for the period 2011-2015. Mrs. Kirsten Sandberg is a Professor of Law at the Law Faculty, University of Oslo, specializing in Child Law. Professor SANDBERG has taken a great interest in the CRC since its adoption in 1989, following the activities of the UN Committee and utilizing their general comments and concluding observations in her daily work. The elections will take place during the 13th meeting of States parties to the Convention on the Rights of the Child, on 21st December 2010, in New York.
