Visitors to “Detour” will see Norwegian landscapes in combination with various motoring routes and modern design and architecture through brass-rimmed openings in a display case from the 1900s.

The constructions have been designed by Norwegian as well as international architects, landscape architects and designers. Some of the villages that have got these new installations have already been mapped out and recognised within international architectural circles.
