Norway condemns suicide bombing in Iran

“I strongly condemn this assault on innocent civilians,” said State Secretary Espen Barth Eide following the terrorist attack in the Iranian city of Chabahar on Wednesday.

The terrorist group Jundollah has claimed responsibility for the bombing outside a mosque in Chabahar, in the southeastern province of Sistan-Baluchistan in Iran, in which  39 people were killed and 83 injured.     

Iran has previously been subject to similar terrorist attacks on several occasions. “This attack demonstrates that terrorism is a challenge that we all share,” said Mr Eide, who expressed his concern for the injured and sympathy for the bereaved
