Nobel Peace Prize winners Jody Williams and Shirin Ebadi will be among those attending the programme of events in Oslo organised by the Norwegian Government to mark the 10th anniversary of the Mine Ban Treaty.

Minister of Foreign Affairs Jonas Gahr Støre will speak at the conference Towards Human Security at 10:00 on Monday 17 September. (The programme can be found here.)
On Tuesday 18 September, various countries, international researchers, politicians and humanitarian actors will participate in a conference organised by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. State Secretary Raymond Johansen will chair the conference, which will take place at Oslo Congress Centre from 09:00 to 13:30. Nobel Peace Prize winners Jody Williams and Shirin Ebadi will be guest speakers. (The programme can be found here.)
The anniversary programme will close with a gala evening at Gamle Logen on 18 September. Minister of Foreign Affairs Jonas Gahr Støre will host the event, which will also be attended by HRH Crown Prince Haakon.
