The celebration of HM King Harald’s 70 ^th> birthday on 21 February 2007 will start with a church service in Trefoldighetskirken. Later on the same day there will a special event in the Palace Gardens, and the programme will be concluded with a dinner at Akershus Castle. Due to limited space, there will be press pools indoors.

Following the official celebration on 21 February, several events will take place 23–25 February, to which the Heads of State of the other Nordic countries and members of other European Royal Houses are invited. On Saturday 24 February, a ball will be held at the Royal Palace.
