New telephone number for Foreign Minister’s duty press officer

The Foreign Minister’s duty press officer will have a new telephone number as from 12 November 2009. The new number is (+47) 23 95 00 02.

The number is to be used for media enquiries concerning Foreign Minister Jonas Gahr Støre, Norwegian foreign policy and consular matters (e.g. concerning Norwegians abroad).

The Minister of the Environment and International Development’s duty press officer in the Foreign Ministry will have the same telephone number as previously: (+47) 913 95 000. This number is to be used for media enquiries concerning Minister of the Environment and International Development Erik Solheim’s portfolio in the Foreign Ministry, Norwegian development policy and the aid budget.

Neither of these numbers can receive text messages.
