Norway's Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Jonas Gahr Støre, met members of the media on July 23 in connection with the attacks at Utøya and in Oslo on July 22.
Norway's Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Jonas Gahr Støre, met members of the media on July 23 in connection with the attacks at Utøya and in Oslo on July 22.
- Norway is waking up in deep mourning after what happened yesterday, said Mr Støre. He expressed sympathy to those affected, and emphasized that the nature of Norwegian democracy would not change.
- The Norway that you meet tomorrow will be recognizable. As the Labour Youth have expressed very clearly, we will take Utøya back. The youth will take Utøya back and we will help them in doing so, said Mr Støre.
