Former Political Adviser Signe Brudeset (Labour Party)

Office of the Prime Minister has for the period 30 May-15 September 2011 appointed Ms. Signe Brudeset (43), international secretary, Oslo, as political adviser to Minister of Foreign Affairs Jonas Gahr Støre. Brudeset will be acting during Mr. Tarjei Skirbekk’s leave of absence.
Signe Brudeset comes from the post as International Secretary of the Norwegian Labour Party. She has previously held posts in Norway’s foreign service, and has also been Deputy Director in the cabinet of the former NATO Secretary General Jaap de Hoop Scheffer.
