Greetings to First Lego League Open European Championship

We Norwegians often associate the use of innovative ideas and solutions to meet challenges with our experience of conquering the tough climatic conditions that we share with our Northern neighbours.  

We have learned key lessons from the generations that have helped to build the society we live in today, such as the importance of teamwork and the need to work together across borders to find solutions.

I am pleased that Bodø is hosting the First Lego League Open European Championship. Young people from all over the world will have an opportunity to compete and cooperate to find the best technological solutions to the challenges they will be presented with during their stay. 

I hope that you, the participants, will enjoy your stay in North Norway, and that this event will highlight the importance of international cooperation in creating the world of tomorrow.
